Legal Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your business, as part of Valley’s Gold Exchange (Valley’s) operations the following terms & conditions apply to all transactions within this site:

1. You represent that all information submitted is truthful and accurate;

2. You are at least 18 years of age;

3. You are the legal owner of the merchandise you are selling to us;

4. You are acting on your own behalf and not as an agent or representative on behalf of someone else.

5. You agree to submit all information requested with the form(s) including your full legal name, current address, and a copy of one form of identification.

6. You agree that as owner of the merchandise you are acting within all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and that the information provided is given under penalties of perjury.

7. You agree to include a complete listing of the merchandise shipped to us and that all merchandise received by us is immediately photographed and catalogued.  You will be notified immediately if there is any discrepancy between your list of merchandise and the merchandise as catalogued by us.  Valley’s is not responsible for any missing or lost items that are not received.

8. You agree that the package sent to us will have a limited insurance of up to $250.00; however you may at your own expense insure the merchandise for higher value amount. 

9. You agree that Valley’s will only pay for the weight of the precious metal and that any diamonds included with your merchandise will be negotiated with you under different terms such as clarity, carat weight, etc.  You further agree that Valley’s will not pay for any other gemstones unless specifically negotiated with one of our representatives.

10. Valley’s reserves the right to refuse receipt of any package that appears to have been tampered with or damaged and Valley’s will mail the entire content back with out any liability for the return of the package.

11. If you agree to accept our offer one of our representatives will verbally confirm the agreement and Valley’s will send you full payment within 24 hours of the acceptance.

12. You agree that all interest in the merchandise will pass through to Valley’s once you have accepted our offer and the agreed upon consideration paid to you.  Valley’s will process the merchandise by melting, refining or other means it may deem economically advantageous. 

13. You agree that the merchandise will not be available for return once Valley’s has processed it in one form or another.

15. You agree that if you reject the offer, Valley’s will send back your merchandise within 48 hours with insurance limited to the amount of the offer up to $250.00.  If you desire to purchase higher insurance, then you agree to bear the additional cost and make arrangements for the payment of said additional cost with one of our representatives.

16. You agree that if you utilize our prepaid label mailing and the package is lost that you will be entitled to file an insurance claim up to the amount insured, provided that you submit any and all supporting documents that support the merchandise’s shipment.  Failure to submit the requested supporting documentation may result in denial of your claim.

17. You agree not to use this site for any unauthorized use other than to conduct your transaction for the sell of your merchandise.

18. You agree that any disputes that may arise will be governed by the State of Texas statutes, and to the extent permitted by law, you agree that any claim or cause related to any transaction with Valley’s will be filed within one year from the date of the transaction.

19. You agree to submit/file all disputes, claims and or causes within the jurisdiction of Cameron County, Texas (Federal and State).

20. You agree to hold Valley’s, it’s employees, representatives, contractors, affiliates, successors, and third parties harmless for any loss, liability, claim, or demand arising from any transaction conducted in this site, including but not limited to ownership disputes, lien holders, etc. as related to the marketability of the merchandise.
